Adrian Blair is the CEO of Receipt Bank. Prior to this, he was the Global Chief Operating Officer of Just Eat and the only executive team member to serve throughout the company’s transformation from start-up to FTSE 100. Before this, he led business development for Spotify in Europe and spent six years in commercial roles at Google in California and London. He is also the Co-Founder and Chairman of Circl, a next-generation leadership development programme for students from deprived backgrounds. He holds a Bachelor’s degree in Philosophy, Politics and Economics from the University of Oxford, and an MBA from Harvard Business School.
Caroline is Founder and CEO of Fluidly a venture-backed business which uses machine learning to help small businesses manage their biggest painpoint – cashflow. Fluidly works with businesses and their advisors to automagically forecast and optimise cashflow to save time, improve working capital and help them sleep better at night. Fluidly has been named one of 2018’s ‘Hot 10’ European Fintechs by the Fintech50, in WIRED’s Top 100 Hottest European startups and is shortlisted for “Innovation of the Year” in the Accounting Excellence awards.
Caroline is also one of the Prime Minister’s Business Ambassadors, representing the Professional Services sector, and serves as a non-executive director of AIM-listed Mercia Technologies. She previously co-founded FreshMinds, an innovation consultancy, and FreshMinds Talent, a recruiting business. Caroline has a First Class degree in Engineering, Economics and Management from Oxford University and was awarded an OBE in the Queen’s 90th Birthday Honours List in 2016.

Andrew joined the successful Australian business analytics platform Fathom in 2018 to open a UK office in Cambridge.
Andrew spends his time working with accountants and advisors to implement Fathom, he has a current focus on an educational project at Fathom called Advisable as well as a new Training and Implementation Service.
Previously Andrew trained at BDO in London working in Corporate Tax and M&A and then worked as a Consultant Finance Controller in Brisbane.

Neil Glover has over 8 years experience supporting Accountancy firms transition to cloud solutions and previously worked for a city based Accountancy firm implementing outsourced solutions and technology. Neil now heads up Partnerships for APtimise – Accounts Payable Software within NatWest Ventures.
During this session, Neil will share his experience of using technology to offer value added outsource solutions and how this can help leverage better data, quality insights and proactive real time advice to your clients, supporting growth and collaboration.
Graeme has just come off the back of the Practice Ignition and ACCA Roadshows up and down in the country sharing war stories and is scheduled to be do further talks this year alongside Xero.
He also works closely alongside ACCA and yes was responsible for the bad joke at Xerocon 2019 as part of their opening video!
Having originally set up his practice; after having operated in a small private practice, public sector and having worked at PwC he decided to set up his own firm in 2013.
Having replicated the structure of the firm first he worked in at first and self-financing everything, he felt like the firm was operating successfully. Then one skiing holiday later and some difficult times led him to embrace the technology whirlwind and change at speed including losing staff.
It is these lessons learnt; some of which were very costly, along with the recognition that accountants can often by hypocrites and are trained to be accountants rather than business owners, that today leads him to share his stories as to how these struggles were overcome.

Jordan is a marketing strategist. He helps businesses in the accounting profession to design and implement marketing strategies that drive results. He hates writing about himself in 3rd person so follow him on social media where he writes as himself.

Simon is a qualified accountant from FD Works in Bristol. As Chief Product Officer at Xavier, he works with businesses and Xavier users to help understand their numbers, analysing and improving their data processes.
Future Cloud Accountancy
Francesca is co-founder of Future Cloud Accountancy, a cloud-only accountancy firm based in Newark in Nottinghamshire. Having worked for a top 20 firm of accountants for 6 years, Francesca and her business partner Charlotte finally decided to take the plunge and started their own cloud practice. The business is growing rapidly and they are keen to do the same for their own clients using technology to fuel growth. They have already implemented Xero, Receipt Bank, Accountancy Manager, Tide for business banking and Futrli within their practice.

Katy is Cloud Lead at a Top 30 UK Firm – Duncan & Toplis based in the East Midlands.
Katy has been pivotol in the uptake of the firms digital strategy. Katy heads up the cloud development team which enables cloud champions to deliver frontline training and support to clients across multiple offices around the country.
Katy also leads the client onboarding strategy where she is responsible for moving hundreds of clients across to cloud based accountancy software and integrated apps via the firms new app advisory service.
Katy’s outside the box thinking enables her to drive change and challenge the traditional process to influence better and more efficient ways of working thus delivering a new and improved client experience.
In addition to all this Katy is an AAT lecturer at Boston College, mother of three undeniably beautiful children, and all-round superstar!
Cloud 360 Accounting
Kieran started the firm ‘K Phelan & Company’ 9 years ago in 2010. He decided to start his own firm after discovering Xero and upon seeing the new bank feed technology in action, Kieran knew this was an opportunity to be a market-leader and innovator in Northern Ireland. Upon starting his new practice back in 2010, Kieran founded the first cloud accounting firm in Northern Ireland and became the first Xero Certified Advisor at that time.
In 2017, Kieran rebranded the firm as ‘Cloud 360 Accounting’.
Kieran now offers his cloud expertise to other accountants, to help firms transition to become cloud-based, digital practices modelled on Kieran’s own firm. No other firm in Northern Ireland has the success or experience in this field to offer such services.
Kieran has become the “go to” person in practice in Northern Ireland in terms of cloud accounting. He has been involved in a panel discussion for Chartered Accountants Ireland (CAI) in March 2019 and was a guest on the Q&A panel at the Xero Roadshow in Belfast in June 2019.

Darren has a huge amount of experience in working in practice and cloud technology. Whilst at PKF Francis Clark Darren formulated the member firm’s digital strategy and cloud offering; leading to a take up of over 1,200 clients on cloud technology.
He also sits on working groups with the ICAEW, HMRC and software vendors. Recently he spent 6 months employed by Receipt Bank rolling out software projects within Top 20 accountancy firms.
Darren has now become a Partner at Statton & Co where he is currently transitioning this rural practice and its clients towards a digital future.
Jeri is the Founder of Smooth Accounting & she’s shaking up the accounting profession one Linkedin post at a time. When she’s not busy building her online following, she does do accounts & stuff, apparently.
Walji & Co
Reza trained with PwC before leaving in 2008 to buy into a small traditional firm near Southampton called Walji & Co. In the years since he has transformed the firm completely – trebling turnover and achieving profit margins of 50%. He has managed to systemise the firm so it can largely run without him and now dedicates his time to coaching and mentoring other accounting firm owners to do the same.
Daniel is the Managing Director at T-Tech and over sees sales within the business. Daniel is hands-on with T-Tech’s clients and previously acted as IT director, namely for top 100 UK accountancy firm Berg Kaprow Lewis. Prior to T-Tech, Daniel worked at Deloitte as a Management Consultant for 4 years, on global transformational projects for some of the world’s largest banks.

Richard is a Partner at Xero Award winning accountants Tyrrell and Company. Richard moved from Touche Ross (now Deloitte) back in 1995 and has been instrumental in helping the firm evolve and grow from a back bedroom operation as well as introducing new technology and mindsets needed for a modern accountancy firm.

Karen understand the power of real-time data, IoT and AI, how to make data
